Kenneth Williams, Jr.

Mr. Williams received his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in 1968 and is a 1971 graduate of the University of Kentucky Law School. While at the University of Kentucky, he was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal staff and a member of Phi Delta Phi fraternity. He authored "Kentucky's Answer to the 'Coal Black Shame'," which appeared in the Kentucky Law Journal, Vol. 59, pg. 466. Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Army Reserve, (1st Lt., 1971-1977).

Mr. Williams is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He is a member of the Boyd County Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, Kentucky Defense Counsel, and Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Williams has engaged in the private practice of law in the Ashland area since 1971 and formed the current partnership in 2000. He has developed his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, health care, insurance law, general practice, and trials.

Mr. Williams was a 2008 Presenter for Trial Strategies and Techniques Seminar for the Kentucky Defense Counsel and the Kentucky Justice Association, "Opening Statements from the Defense Side."

Roger W. Hall

Mr. Hall received his B.A. from the College of William & Mary in 1967 and his law degree from the University of North Carolina in 1973. After practicing in North Carolina for two years, Mr. Hall came to Ashland in 1975. While at the University of North Carolina he was a member of the Holderness Moot Court Bench.

Mr. Hall served in the United States Air Force (Capt., 1967-1971). He served as Assistant Boyd County Attorney (1977-1979). Mr. Hall has been active in the Kentucky Bar Association as a Trial Commissioner (2000-2003) and as member of the Inquiry Commission (2003-2006) and has also served as a Special Supreme Court Justice. He was awarded the Boyd County Pro Bono Outstanding Service Award in 2005 and 2007. Mr. Hall is a member in the Boyd County Bar Association (President, 1990), Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association, and American Justice Association.

Mr. Hall is a certified mediator in civil and domestic cases for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Mr. Hall's practice is focused on family law, utility law, personal injury, and trial practice.

David F. Latherow

Mr. Latherow received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 1991 and his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1995. At Ohio Northern University, Mr. Latherow was the Manuscript Editor of the Law Review (1994-1995). He authored "Graham v. Collins: A Return to Arbitrary Sentencing," 20 Ohio Northern University Law Review 1075, 1994.

Mr. Latherow was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1995 and the Ohio Bar in 1996. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Ohio as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, health law, personal injury, trial practice, insurance law, and employment law.

Mr. Latherow has been active in the Boyd County and Kentucky Bar Associations. He has served as Vice President of the Boyd County Bar Association since 2003. He was on the executive committee of the Kentucky Young Lawyers Association, serving as 7th District Representative and was a member of the House of Delegates. He has been on the Board of Directors for Kentucky Defense Counsel. Mr. Latherow currently serves on the Kentucky Advertising Commission. He has assisted the Kentucky Bar Association by serving as a presenter and moderator at continuing legal education programs.

Catherine C. Hughes

Ms. Hughes is a native of Ashland, Kentucky and graduated from Fairview High School. She received her B.A. in English with High Honors from the University of Kentucky. In 1994 she graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar that year. During law school she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and served on the Journal of Law & Education staff and on the Journal of Family Law Staff where she was Articles Editor during 1993-1994. Her note: "Interspousal Gifts: Separate or Marital Property?" was published in 32 J. Fam. L. 635 (1993-94).

Ms. Hughes is admitted to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the United States Supreme Court. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Bar Foundation where she is a 7th District Representative. She has previously served on the Solo & Small Firm Practice Committee of the Kentucky Bar Association. She is a member of the Boyd County, Kentucky, and American Bar Associations.

Ms. Hughes' practice is focused primarily in the areas of corporate transactions, insurance law, litigation, property law and estate law.
